Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of NovelVerse (novelverse.co), a website for reading translated web novels. "NovelVerse", "we" and "us" mean the people who run the site. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use NovelVerse.

Who can use NovelVerse

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian to buy a Premium subscription, and they are responsible for the purchase.

Your account

  • Give a real email address and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • An account is for one person. Do not share it, sell it or let others read Premium chapters through it.
  • Usernames must not impersonate anyone or be offensive. A username that has been used once is never given to anyone else, even after the account is deleted.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Account → Profile. Deleting it removes your library, reading progress, comments, reviews and notifications, and ends any Premium subscription immediately.

The novels

NovelVerse publishes English translations of web novels. Some translations are produced with machine translation, including AI models, and then checked; they can contain mistakes. Chapters, novels and features may be added, changed, delayed or removed at any time, including when a rights holder asks us to take a work down (see Copyright). We do not promise that any novel will be completed or stay available.

Premium

The first chapters of every novel are free. Premium unlocks the later chapters for as long as the subscription is active. The current price and billing periods are shown on the Premium page before you pay.

  • Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
  • Renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period and charges the payment method on file, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel at any time from Account → Billing. Premium stays active until the end of the period you already paid for and then stops; you are not charged again.
  • Refunds. Payments are not refundable, including for partly used periods, except where the law of your country gives you a right to a refund (for example, a right of withdrawal for online purchases). To use such a right, write to support@novelverse.co.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Premium may be paused until the payment method is updated.
  • Price changes. If the price changes, we will tell subscribers before it applies to them; the new price applies from the next billing period, and you can cancel before then.
  • Deleting your account ends the subscription at once, without a refund for the rest of the period.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, download in bulk or republish chapters, or use automated tools to access the site beyond normal reading;
  • get around the Premium lock, rate limits or other protections;
  • attack, overload or probe the site, or access other people's accounts;
  • post comments or reviews that are illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual involving minors or spam, or that reveal other people's personal information.

Comments and reviews

Comments and reviews are public and show your username. You keep the rights to what you write, and you allow us to display it on NovelVerse. We may hide or remove comments and reviews and suspend accounts that break these Terms.

Intellectual property

The NovelVerse name, logo and site design are ours. The novels belong to their authors and rights holders. If you believe something on NovelVerse infringes your rights, follow the steps on theCopyright page.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, misuses the service or puts other readers at risk. If we close a paying account without a breach of these Terms on your side, we refund the unused part of the current period.

Disclaimers and liability

NovelVerse is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or that translations are accurate. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters to subscribers, we will tell them before it takes effect. Using NovelVerse after a change means you accept the new Terms.
