Tang Yuansheng, a man of 102 years, was at the Nascent Soul stage of cultivation and currently held the position of Inspector for the Immortal Sect. He received a message from Master Chu, asking him to come over a bit earlier, so he decided to adjust his schedule. First, he arrived at Qinghuai County, which was just a mountain away from Yanjiang County.
"Once we cross this mountain, we’ll reach the place Little Chu mentioned."
"Hmm?" Suddenly, Tang Yuansheng felt a strange wave of energy. "What is this aura?"
Following the sensation, he arrived at a stable in an inn. Inside, an old horse with dragon scales on its forehead was snuggling with a small brown mare, looking quite affectionate.
A stable boy brought a bunch of selected grass feed and placed it in the trough. The old horse glanced at it with disdain, showing no interest in eating.
Seeing this, the stable boy murmured quietly, "The little white horse left, and it got cozy with a new mare so quickly?"
The old horse seemed to understand the boy's words and shot him a glare. The boy, not daring to provoke the strange beast, hurriedly ran away.
