The coldness sent fear shivering through Han Yanyan’s heart. Suddenly, a storm enveloped her, and in an instant, she felt herself dissolve into dust.
She opened her eyes wide, greeted by a pure white space. Her legs gave way, and she fell to her knees, gasping for breath. The experience of being obliterated was entirely different from watching a special effects movie; her heart was still racing and uncomfortable.
An electronic voice boomed loudly, “Not even ten minutes! Not even ten minutes!”
Ten minutes? Han Yanyan thought, what about ten minutes?
“My worst builder wouldn’t crumble under ten minutes! You’ve let me down!” The electronic voice seemed furious about this “ten minutes.” “You clearly have such high potential! Why are your actions so poor? Didn’t you say this tactic is your specialty? How did you mess it up?”
Han Yanyan’s heart was still racing, but her usual calm mind captured the hints in the electronic voice’s words. She steadied herself against the floor and lifted her head, her dark eyes gazing into the expanse of white. “When did I ever say such a thing?”
The electronic voice suddenly choked for a second, then, with a hint of irritation, responded, “Mark her!”
