The Summoning Genius of the Necromancer School
In the waiting room, Simon peeked at the arena and was taken aback.
He had heard about the large-scale audience from outside, but he never expected so many people to show up.
The seats from the very bottom of the audience area to the top were filled with spectators.
Students in Kizen uniforms sat below, while outsiders were on the other side of the partition.
"Just to let you know," Dick, who had come to hang out in the waiting room for the afternoon match, said while chewing gum.
"All those people are here to watch your duel."
"Really?"
"In the second arena, the biggest issue is definitely the duel between Special Cases No. 1 and No. 10. Looking at the previous matchups, it seems like you two are the only ones worth mentioning. Everyone is probably here to see the mysterious Special Case No. 1."
Simon smiled bitterly.
"Hey, what’s with the sudden tension?"
"You know you perform better when you’re nervous. I just wanted to remind you to face reality," Dick said, making a V shape with his fingers and waving them in front of Simon.
"This is a match on the edge of a cliff with nowhere to retreat. If you lose in front of this many spectators, rumors will spread across the continent that this Special Case No. 1 is nothing special! People might underestimate you endlessly!"
