Simon blinked.
"The most important function?"
"Yes. Focus on the ring on your finger and press down firmly with your left foot on the ground."
Following Gellan's words, Simon gently pressed his left foot onto the dirt floor.
It felt as if he was pressing a button with his foot, and a transparent magic circle began to form around his left foot.
"Now, the caster will see a virtual magic circle. Pour some dark energy to activate the magic circle."
Activate it? How am I supposed to do that? Simon was puzzled, but he decided to pour a small amount of dark energy into the magic circle.
Whoosh!
A black flame ignited at one corner of the magic circle, bringing it to life. 'So this is how it works.' There was no complicated process.
Just pouring dark energy was enough for the virtual magic circle to form on its own.
"This state is called 'Set Mode.' When your left foot lifts off the ground, the Set Mode will be released."
As Simon lifted his left foot, the magic circle truly melted away into the air.
When he pressed his foot back down and summoned dark energy, the magic circle reformed, returning to 'Set Mode.'
"How fascinating!" A childlike smile appeared on Simon's face.
"Now, what you can do in this Set Mode is simple. The caster can open up to six spatial pockets simultaneously."
