According to historical records, the first Ghost Princess appeared five years after the Ghost Palace incident.
At the time, the area around the Ghost Palace was extremely desolate, its people driven mad by wraiths, and the land swarming with undead.
This phenomenon showed signs of spreading from the Ghost Palace across the entire continent, a development all the rulers of the time watched with grave concern.
However, there came a time when the Ghost Palace’s aggressive expansion, which seemed poised to engulf the continent, began to wane.
This was humanity’s chance to strike back.
A young female necromancer, who would later become the first Ghost Princess, set out with her comrades to eliminate the Dungeon Master of the Ghost Palace.
Having contracted with an Ancient Undead, she was powerful, and after overcoming numerous obstacles, she succeeded in reaching the Dungeon Master’s chamber on the fifth floor.
But the one waiting there was not the Dungeon Master.
“Ughh! Uggghhh!”
It was a person, gaunt and emaciated.
The woman, dressed in the same old, tattered clothes one could see anywhere on the continent, was bound by chains around both arms.
Upon closer inspection, it was shockingly revealed that she had chained herself.
