Adam showed no particular reaction. Every gain came with risk, and the greater the gain, the greater the risk; that was only natural. But since Mage Victor had brought the subject up, he did have a question of his own: "What is that special magic?"
He had asked Priscilla the Transdimensional this question, but the Transdimensional Mage's reaction had been very strange — admiration mixed with disgust? Adam could not make sense of such a feeling.
