Now, Enkrid whispered to him of future and dreams.
“If that happens, you’ll earn a staggering amount of krona.”
Krais momentarily saw a mountain of gold coins appear before his eyes. It was an illusion. He hadn’t taken any drugs, yet he saw an illusion.
“Building that city of pleasure you mentioned on the border between the Empire nobility and the great southern kingdom wouldn’t be a bad idea.”
Krais’s eyes grew hazy. His mind seemed to have already reached the distant future. He had heard that recently, Anne had failed to develop a remedy but ended up creating a substance that glowed at night.
