Where the tidal wave had passed, every bit of land one could set foot on had turned into a lump of mud. The wreckage that had once been statues lay buried in that mud, no longer able to move. If they had still been able to move with only a few fingers left, I might have been a little impressed.
“Is it almost over?”
I continued narrowing the encirclement, crushing the remaining statues beneath the tidal wave. The speed at which the statues were swept away by the tidal wave was dozens of times faster than the speed at which they resisted and multiplied. If things continued like this, it would eventually end in my victory.
So they would throw out some other move.
“If they haven’t underestimated me too much, they must have something else.”
Statues that could multiply and use magic? Of course, they were absurdly powerful minions. But they were not a card one would bring out in a battle against an outer god.
Those statues had to be hiding something more. That must be why they had thrown them at me. It soon revealed itself.
At the point when the statues that had disappeared outnumbered the ones still remaining, all of a sudden, they began gathering in one place. I pulled up the seawater. I expanded Tide Sense over that location, intending to burst it apart the moment they did anything that seemed dangerous.
