Im So-baek spoke to the color demon.
"Come to my office after you eat. I need to give the first leader a good scolding."
"Understood."
The color demon checked Im So-baek's expression and left the courtyard without a word.
As the color demon entered the leader's competition, Im So-baek's voice could be heard. "…It’s Prince Mong who finished the martial arts match."
This meant to let him pass without issue.
As the color demon walked by, the members of the alliance slightly bowed their heads.
After sending the color demon off, Im So-baek sat on the floor and called for Shim Hwi.
"Come here."
Shim Hwi, the first leader, walked over with a dejected look, as if he had been thoroughly scolded.
When Shim Hwi sat across from him, Im So-baek crossed his arms and said, "I warned you to give it your all."
"I’m sorry."
"To concede while your sword is still drawn. Did that guy seem so weak to you?" The dejected Shim Hwi lowered his head.
"No, if I fought with all my strength again…"
Im So-baek laughed in disbelief.
"Again?"
"Yes."
"You just died a moment ago; where is the next fight?" Shim Hwi looked up in surprise.
"Yes?"
"There was enough time to stab him in the back, not just with a finger."
"That's true."
