The Greatest Under Heaven.
As I engaged in a contest of strength with the sect leader, my mood gradually improved.
From the moment I resolved to burn all of the Heavenly Jade, I felt I could endure this.
A sense of relief washed over me, knowing I wouldn’t die easily.
The pride of facing the sect leader directly filled me.
This was the one-on-one I had always desired.
Regardless of the outcome, everything felt right.
I couldn’t know the sect leader’s thoughts, but I had long anticipated this kind of battle.
How fair was this life-and-death struggle? At some point, as I melted and burned the Heavenly Jade while maintaining the Zaha Divine Art, the world, once drenched in a deep purple hue, began to slowly regain its true colors.
This must be its natural color, which meant my gaze was also normal.
The world, restored to its original colors, was far more pleasing to the eye than when it was stained with blood.
How beautiful it was! Now, I could see the sect leader’s face more clearly.
This man had eyes, a nose, and a mouth, and his ears were quite large.
If he faced the sunlight directly, his eyes would surely be blinded, and when he ate, he could distinguish between delicious and tasteless food.
He was indeed a human.
However, he possessed a higher realm of consciousness than ordinary people.
