The temporary medical ward of the Quasar.
"...So, please do not touch the bandages I've wrapped unless necessary."
Sol was tending to the victims. Fortunately, no one's condition had turned critical. At that moment, a desert fox beastman receiving treatment asked.
"Kagan, when may I remove this eye patch?"
"You must not remove the eye patch yet either."
"Understood, Your Majesty."
"...?"
'Your Majesty?'
It seemed these people had firmly misunderstood Sol's identity.
"Now, please convey the same to the others."
At Sol's words, the desert fox beastman nodded and began diligently interpreting for the rest. Just then, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed. It was Penny and Doloren.
As soon as they rushed into the temporary ward, their eyes frantically scanned the patients for signs of life.
"...Huh? They're not dead? What's going on here?"
Penny muttered in shock as she watched the test subjects' chests rise and fall steadily. Sol asked them.
"What's the matter, all of a sudden?"
"Well... Doloren just detected that snake-headed bitch's curse through her detection spell."
Penny's explanation sent a chill down Sol's spine. If the curse had been activated, everyone lying in this ward should have died with their hearts burst by now. Doloren spoke with a wistful expression.
