All the dwarven spirits, except for Balkan’s father, had left to see their descendants. They would come to my aid if I ran into any difficulties while manipulating the Floating Stone. If possible, I hoped there would be no reason for them to come help me.
That would only ruin the emotional reunion. The lab was empty after everyone had left. Only Balkan, his father, and I remained.
"So... you're saying you'll handle alone what it took a hundred of us to manage?"
Balkan's father asked, his eyes filled with concern.
"Yes."
Truthfully, I had already done it once before. When I pulled the entire Sky Island with the Quasar, I had briefly experienced synchronizing with the Floating Stone.
"This will be on a completely different level from back then. This time, you're not just touching the surface; you have to delve deep inside."
"If it doesn't work... I'll just have to send you all off into space, I guess."
"Hoho, you've got some nerve."
Of course, that wouldn't happen. As soon as he finished speaking, Balkan gripped my shoulder tightly.
"Be careful, Isaac."
"Yes. Thank you for your concern."
I gave Balkan a grin and stood before the Floating Stone. Taking a deep breath, I reached out my hand.
Connection. Wooooong~!
