One day, as the airship's construction was nearing completion, I scheduled an interview with the Daily Sun. If I showed too much favoritism to our own newspaper, it wouldn't look good, so I went ahead with it for the sake of appearances. Laura asked me.
"Does it have to be them?"
"Aren't they second in sales?"
"That's true. But have you ever read one of their articles yourself?"
"Yes."
It was a rare media outlet that reminded me of 21st-century Earth, so I read it from time to time. Their knack for writing headlines was especially brilliant.
"I found them quite amusing."
"..."
Laura was at a loss for words. A few days later, at the interview. The reporter from the Daily Sun asked me.
"There's a rumor that you, Isaac, are the hidden power behind the politics of the Dwarf Kingdom and the Harpy clan... is this true?"
Laura responded immediately to the reporter's question.
"I believe we agreed not to answer baseless rumors."
"It's our job to satisfy our readers' curiosity..."
The reporter and Laura glared at each other as if they wanted to kill one another.
"Next question."
"Tsk."
But it was Laura who held the sword. She cut off the reporter's question with surgical precision.
Fair enough.
