I watched the electric current flowing around me, following the magnetic field. The 7th-circle spell, ‘Roar of the Lightning Dragon.’ To think she could cast this with no-chant casting.
My sister had already far surpassed the level of an undergraduate. She could probably kill someone like Malakai, who had imprisoned Anna, in under ten seconds now. I’m so proud of my sister.
“So you’ve learned to use spells up to the 7th-circle. That’s amazing.”
At my praise, Anna bit her lip and replied.
“…That’s the only one I’ve polished my visualization for.”
Even so, that didn’t make it any less amazing. Most mages spend their entire lives without even being able to attempt a 7th-circle spell. There are only so many concepts a person can recall at once.
No matter how much you chant, if your comprehension is lacking, the previous parts of the incantation will scatter.
“And yet, you subdued it in one go…”

I pointed at the electric current around me.
“If I hadn’t subdued it, I’d have gotten an electrical burn by now.”
The ancient protection magic cast over the stadium seemed to prioritize protecting areas closely related to the body’s internal life activities. But it didn’t seem like it would perfectly block surface-level skin burns.
