As the True如 Buddha remained calm, his gaze intensely focused on the yellow sand, he spoke, "Benefactor, do not speak carelessly about this thing; the consequences of celestial positions in Heaven are profound."
"You can bestow upon this humble Daoist, yet I cannot offer you a small trinket in return?" Gu Wen sat on the ground, grasping the yellow sand in his hand.
He could sense that the True如 Buddha feared this object even more than life and death itself.
Given the bestowal, it also meant to accept one as a servant.
He joked, "It’s my first time being a sage, and there are many rules I don’t understand. It seems both you and the Heavenly Sage enjoy treating others as humble servants."
"The Heavenly Sage has said that every creature follows the divine order. Even a sage cannot transgress."
"There are laws for Buddha, Dao, and even demons. The Buddha follows the fruits of enlightenment, the Dao follows virtuous conduct, and the demons rely on power."
