The office was quiet in the early morning.
Namgung Soo liked this moment best during his day at the Blue Dragon Academy.
Slowly savoring a cup of lightly brewed tea as he began his morning work.
The cool winter air slipped in through the open window for fresh air, and soft sunlight cast a gentle glow over his desk.

It had definitely felt that way just moments ago...

Namgung Soo frowned slightly as he stared at the office door.
More precisely, it was the presence striding boldly toward the office from beyond it.

“Good morning!”

“Did you do well while I was gone?”
Baek Soo-ryong’s teasing smile made Namgung Soo’s eyebrows twitch once.
The subtle smile on his lips stiffened abruptly, as if erased.
