“You…!” The blood-red eyes, as if stained with fresh blood, shook violently like an earthquake.
His furious voice trembled sharply. “What have you done to me…!” The Blood Demon snarled, veins bulging in his neck as he glared fiercely at Sagoon.
If it were possible, his wild gaze could tear his opponent to shreds with just a look.
Sagoon did not avoid that gaze.
Though the power of his art had completely vanished, leaving him unable to speak aloud, he gripped his master’s hand tightly and continued to speak silently through his lips. ‘Baek Soo-ryong.
You are Baek Soo-ryong.
Do not lose to a mere Blood Demon.’
The expression reflected in the Blood Demon’s eyes was calm, without a trace of wavering.
It seemed to show the firm belief that his master would return.
“It’s useless… Now… he cannot come back… Stop it…” At first, the Blood Demon spoke to Sagoon, but soon his words shifted toward someone else.
Suddenly, the Blood Demon writhed in pain, twisting his body wildly.
Sagoon only tightened his hold on him more firmly.
Suppressing Baek Soo-ryong, who was struggling to break free from the abyss, the Blood Demon growled, “Do you think a mere mortal like yourself can defeat me? The desperate prayer I've held onto for hundreds of years, do you really believe you can stop it…!”
