On the shattered martial stage that had turned into nothing but a ruin, two swordsmen clashed fiercely, with the determination of men ready to risk their lives.
Only one stood upright—the victor of the duel.
That victor, Heon Won-gang, looked down at Peng Sa-hyeok, who lay collapsed, drenched in blood, and he smiled in a strange way.
"……"
Oddly, no cheers erupted.
The crowd, who always cheered passionately for the winner, swallowed nervously in tense silence.
Some whispered quietly to the person beside them, as if they had witnessed something forbidden.
"Could it be…?"
"I-it looks like he’s… dead?"
"The martial stage just split in two…"
"He’s laughing after leaving his opponent like that."
The pool of blood and the completely shattered arena bore witness to a battle as deadly as a fight to the death.
Because the fight was so brutal and savage, many in the crowd who had watched tensely were wrongly convinced that Peng Sa-hyeok was dead.
"That strike just now…"
"I thought there would never be another who's comparable to the divine sword mastery…"
"Could it be the Blue Dragon Academy again?"
The experts who had to announce the duel’s outcome, including the Heavenly Martial Academy Master, fell silent, lost in thought or murmuring to themselves.
