The Seven Ancestors reached Nirvana, and the heavens divided into thirty-three layers, the earth cracked into three thousand fragments, forcing all living beings to eke out a precarious existence in small pockets of peace.
Tens of thousands of years later, the Qing Sang Great Emperor rose suddenly, mastering all laws, establishing the Seven Honored Ones, reigning over the cosmos with awe-inspiring might, standing proudly as the sole sovereign of heaven and earth!
But as the Great Emperor’s power waned, the Seven Great Law Lords each harbored their own ambitions.
Stirred by the scheming of Qing Sang’s three sons, they erupted into fierce internal strife.
When the Buddha and Dao Lords were destroyed together, the thirty-three layers of the clouded heavens were violently shattered, splitting open a rift of time and space that pierced through heaven and earth.
From that rift above came the Grave Path, and below stretched the Divine Continent.
The Grave Path was the location of secret realms, and the Divine Continent lay within this domain’s bounds.
