A faint golden radiance shallowly enveloped their bodies, not on the surface of their clothes, but deeply embedded within their skin. Aside from this luster, there was nothing else unusual or special about them. Following the Heavenly Road, the experts of the Lofty Skies World had long been waiting.
Seeing this strange phenomenon, Qu Yitang took the opportunity to ask.
"This is Grand Dao Merit."
Shi Xiangyuan nodded slightly, quite satisfied.
"To aid a minor world in escaping the peril of being lost and destroyed, the living beings saved number more than ten thousand times ten thousand. This is the Heavenly Dao's reward. You can all accept it with peace of mind."
The concept of merit was not unfamiliar to everyone. In the Lofty Skies World, the Immortal Path was dominated by spiritual root Daoist arts, but in other worlds, there were plenty of other methods that pointed directly to the Great Dao. Merit cultivators were one of them, and Buddhist cultivators also had significant connections to it.
