This battle, tactically, from start to finish, was a test of the old Xia countryman’s intelligence.
The opening move — unleashing the Six-Star Cloud Great Explosion — was never meant to one-shot Luo Hou.
It was to force out the flaw in Luo Hou’s recovery, to expose a crack in his wounds.
Luo Hou’s prior wound was in his primordial spirit.
Once the primordial spirit has a flaw, there’s a real chance to split Yin and Yang.
Xiyue, with absolute Taiyin intent, disturbed the environment and triggered resonance, giving Luo Hou’s Yin-Yang union a tendency to be cleaved.
Since a cleaving was about to happen, if Qin Yi and the main force were not together at that moment, it would naturally make Luo Hou think of simply splitting himself — one body to block Liusu’s group, the other to handle Qin Yi alone.
Deal with Qin Yi first, and the enemy would lose its core — then everything becomes easier.
These were instinctive choices in the blink of an eye, but every step was still in Qin Yi’s rhythm.
Each move had been deliberately guided.
Even Qin Yi being driven far back was intentional — it was all part of creating the right conditions.
