The appearance of the affection points caught Su Xiao by surprise—this might be because he had saved Xiang Lin’s life.
Just then, another prompt appeared.
[Prompt: The Hunter's follower, Bubuteni, has activated the affection level of story character Xiang Lin.]
[Prompt: Due to Bubuteni’s high charisma attribute, which is 1.44 times that of story character Xiang Lin, the maximum affection cap has increased by 30 points, making the new max 130.]
[Current affection: 72 points (Bubuteni).]
……
Seeing the second prompt, Su Xiao subconsciously glanced toward Bubu Wang, who was tilting his head back, using his dog paw to tidy the fur on his head, creating quite a striking image.
Su Xiao chose to selectively ignore the second prompt this time.
He began to check his personal affection level with Xiang Lin.
From these affection hints, he garnered some vital information.
First, the affection level between him and Xiang Lin wasn’t about winning her heart or anything romantic.
The most important purpose of affection was to gauge if Xiang Lin had already betrayed him.
