Heibai Jue had arrived, and Su Xiao had sensed the two of them for some time now, though he showed no sign of it.
"Welcome back to the Akatsuki," Heibai Jue spoke first, moving through the trees deliberately.
"Who is the leader now?" Su Xiao asked as he kicked away the mass of tiny cellular clones that had already expanded into a large area by his feet.
"Hey, don't treat my spore clones like that..."
White Jue protested.
"Shut up," Heijue cut him off sharply.
"Afei is the leader," Heijue stated flatly.
"Afei? Is he still using that identity?" Su Xiao took a step toward Heibai Jue.
"He almost slipped my mind. You’re his collaborator, after all. The current leader is Uchiha Madara," Heijue’s tone was sharper, his mind clearly more agile.
"Ah, really? Just revealing Madara’s identity so easily—are you sure that’s safe?" White Jue sounded surprised.
In truth, he was helping Obito by covering up his identity.
"No problem. Byakuya already knows this secret," Heijue said, his single eye locked onto Su Xiao.
He and White Jue shared the same body now.
Su Xiao watched silently as Heibai Jue played their little double act.
