Side Story Chapter 116. Heretic Disciple (4)
Flutter! The wind blew strong, making the long cloak ripple like a night sky without a single star.
Yu Isang thought to himself, ‘Somehow, this is difficult.’
A sturdy build.
Two red characters carved on his back: Yakcha.
On his left shoulder, he wore a strange metal shoulder guard, round and broad.
It was designed to perfectly disperse impact.
The loose sleeves were tied with red cloth, fitting tightly around thick, long forearms.
That alone would offer some protection against blades.
His walk was steady, ready to respond instantly if a fight broke out, yet the indifferent air surrounding him was oddly heavy and stiff. ‘Such a striking figure.’ Compared to the Yakcha unit leader walking beside him, the difference was like the moon and a firefly.
Besides the Yakcha characters on his back, their clothes were almost identical, but the atmosphere they gave off was worlds apart.
Yu Isang’s eyes grew deep in thought. ‘They joined around the same time?’ Before deployment, he’d heard briefly from Sogong.
He said this was a regular person who joined the sect almost at the same time as him.
Back then, he barely knew any martial arts, yet now he had grown so much already.
Yu Isang believed Sogong’s words.
After all, he himself had only been learning dark magic for a year.
