Hong Guan's eyebrows twitched slightly. Seoryang continued in a calm tone.
"The fourth young master of the Divine Sect, Hong Wi-mun, was involved in numerous corruptions within the sect. The reason these corruptions could be buried was because he was the disciple of the Sect Leader, a candidate for the successor of our sect."
Clink.
The sound of a teacup being placed on the floor echoed loudly.
"But now the situation is different. With his condition worsening and him being unconscious, Hong Wi-mun has lost his qualification as a successor candidate."
"...Lost his qualification?"
"Didn't you see during the Pasun Festival? The poison within him has broken, and the toxic energy has penetrated not only his internal organs but also his bone marrow. Even the Blood Soul Pavilion, where the best doctors of the martial world gathered, concluded that nothing could be done."
Seoryang smiled. It was a smile that sent a strange chill down the spine of those who saw it.
"This is a personal curiosity, but why didn't you call him back to the family? Even though he is the Sect Leader's follower, the Red Clan knows more about the martial arts and poison techniques Hong Wi-mun learned, so you could have requested it at least once."
