"Begin!"
The match began with the referee’s shout. And Patrick watched with interest as the elves' fighting style unfolded.
“Hoh... so they fight like that, do they?”
The elf used a light, thin blade instead of a thick, heavy longsword, and carried no shield. He wore light leather armor, displaying movements that maximized his mobility. With such swift and nimble movements, he circled his opponent, sharply closing in to attack the enemy.
Chwaaaak!
His opponent blocked the attack with his shield. But when he tried to counterattack, the elven warrior had already retreated far away. At the same time, something came flying toward him, cutting through the wind.
He hastily raised his shield again...
Kaang!
A small knife struck his shield and fell to the ground. Even while creating distance, he kept the enemy in check, preventing him from rushing in recklessly. Seeing this, Patrick nodded and muttered to himself.
“He’s fighting exactly as I thought.”
From the moment I saw the equipment he wore, I had a feeling he would fight like this.
‘Is it because he’s dressed like an assassin? His fighting style also seems to be from that school of thought.’
