The grand ceremony of the Nine Li Tribe, known as the Mang Mountain Grand Festival, is held once every four years. During this festival, the performance of practitioners from each tribe determines the number of coffins they can retrieve from the Blood Sea over the next four years.
The coffins from other realms are the most significant benefits for the nine major tribes, yet their distribution is often unequal. This design serves the dual purpose of avoiding a vicious cycle of internal strife among the nine tribes, which would ultimately benefit outsiders and cultivate traitors akin to the four great sects.
Additionally, it aims to identify true young talents, concentrating resources on their training so that the new generation can be revitalized and once again elevate the name of the ancient tribes for countless ages.
This year is unique; two eminent figures from the Nine Springs realm who participated in the Mang Mountain Grand Festival four years ago are also present, responsible for protecting the young seedlings from the new generation, barely in their teens.
