Whooosh.
A hot feeling of excitement surged through Cilia's whole body. She had not yet used the ‘Bee’ she had received from Cheon Hae-seon. This was the Merus sent by Kang Jeong-hyeon from afar.
‘How thoughtful of him.’
Cilia smiled brightly as she looked toward Kang Jeong-hyeon. Should she call this telepathy? Although they had not fought together for long, Kang Jeong-hyeon had precisely figured out who needed the Merus.
The shining ‘Bees’ melted into Cilia's body, and soon, her brown eyes were tinged with gold.
“Die, you son of a bitch!”
With a hoarse voice, Cilia spread the Catena wide to her left and right. Then, she quickly brought her hands together, aiming for Idus.
Chrrrrrrk!
The Catena connected to Cilia's hands were drawn by her and combined in sequence. Though it was sequential, to Idus's eyes, it felt as if the two chains were joining simultaneously.
‘Combined Chain’ If there was a difference from before, it was that its momentum was even more intense, and the surface of the chain was tinged with gold.
Not only because of its power, but also because Idus was vulnerable to Merus, he chose to dodge the Catena instead of taking it head-on.
Whoosh.
