Ladies and gentlemen, we are now approaching Dubai International Airport. Please fasten your seat belt and put your seat back and table....... I was still dazed even looking at the scenery outside the window, but when I heard the captain's announcement, it finally felt real.
We had finally arrived at the venue for the World Hunter Forum. And as representatives of Korea, no less.
"Wow, I feel like my heart is about to burst."
Bi-soo said, her eyes sparkling, so I added a comment.
"Isn't that because you drank so much wine? The wine cellar was completely empty."
"It was free, so what? It was put there for us to drink."
"Even if it's free, how could you drink it all? The sound of our national prestige rising will probably reach all the way to Korea."
"I'm in the best mood right now. Don't ruin it, okay?"
Bang!
"Look at that. They're even setting off fireworks to welcome Hunters from far-off Korea."
Fireworks? Baaang!
No sooner had the plane touched the ground than the loud sound of fireworks erupted. Is the welcome always this grand? I'd never even crossed the sea, let alone attended a World Hunter Forum, so there was no way for me to know.
In times like this, it's best to check with someone who has experience. Among us was a veteran who had participated in the World Hunter Forum every year.
Maria.
But her expression was somewhat strange.
