To maximize efficiency, the Brahma Tower had created a separate spatial pocket and placed within it zombies of the fourth, fifth, and sixth tier. Carrying this space along, it roamed from planet to planet. As it had predicted, countless life-bearing worlds had already fallen victim to that escaped sixth-tier zombie.
Every single planet it passed was completely overrun—no living beings remained, only the dead. The Brahma Tower drifted endlessly through the cosmos, hunting for the escaped sixth-tier zombie. Yet as it traveled, it realized the zombie virus had spread across the entire universe.
New sixth-tier zombies were continually being born, traveling to other worlds to devastate them. It had visited dozens of planets—each one entirely ruined, horrifying beyond measure. Several times during its journey, the Brahma Tower sensed some mysterious pull trying to drag it back toward the Nine Provinces.
Each time, it immediately invoked the power of space and fled swiftly. Its grand mission was not yet complete; how could it allow itself to perish in the Nine Provinces now? It once saw a planet whose technological level had advanced enough to harness stellar energy.
