"If the Immortal Emperor found the Primordial Worm here, then what exactly is it? Is it really a worm-like spiritual root?"
Chen Shi flew up into the air, carefully observing the branches and leaves of the spiritual roots here. Most earthly treasure spiritual roots were plant-like, but there were exceptions that were animal-like, though they too grew roots. But for a spiritual root to grow into the shape of a worm was simply too bizarre.
Therefore, Chen Shi suspected that the Primordial Worm might not be a spiritual root! He then thought of Ning Zhenzi's appearance, which was identical to the likeness of the Heavenly Dao divine beings enshrined in the underground Azure Palace, giving him a rather unsettling feeling.
Qingyuan and Huan Shu hurriedly followed him, asking, "True King Chen, what are you looking for?"
"When you were gathering the spiritual roots just now, did you notice any signs of insect bites on them?"
Chen Shi asked. The two were stunned. Signs of insect bites?
Earthly treasure spiritual roots contained the mysteries of the Great Dao and were brimming with spiritual power. What kind of insect could gnaw on a spiritual root? The two immediately flew up and began inspecting the branches and leaves of each spiritual root one by one.
"Or perhaps, the Primordial Worm is not an earthly treasure spiritual root."
