Master Ning Zhen was precisely a transformation of the Primordial Worm. It had no courage to fight Chen Shi, and the moment it encountered him, it fled in disarray. Chen Shi had left a deep scar on its mind.
Back then, in the Xun River Star Domain, Chen Shi had twice refined its physical body, leaving it helpless. He was already its natural enemy. This time, having found its way to Cangyuan, it feared that if it were even a step too slow, Chen Shi would refine even more of its flesh.
But on its path of escape, it discovered that Chen Shi had been injured by Subtle Dao Lord and Longevity Sovereign, so a thought stirred in its mind. Rather than be restrained and suppressed by Chen Shi, it would be better to seize this opportunity to eliminate him and remove this threat for good!
Thus, it gathered its flesh from the nearby star domains, transformed into Master Ning Zhen, and waited on the path for Chen Shi and the others to arrive. Master Ning Zhen was a real person, an immortal from Three Fortunes Island, but the true Master Ning Zhen was long dead.
