The three Bodhisattvas of the Western Heaven arrived at Penglai West one after another. Upon hearing each other's names, their hearts sank slightly.
"Why are they here too?"
Great Power Bodhisattva was originally an attendant Bodhisattva to Amitabha Buddha. After Amitabha Buddha left the Earthly Immortal Realm, his position in the Western Heaven became unstable, so he pledged allegiance to Randeng Ancient Buddha, becoming Randeng's attendant Bodhisattva.
Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, on the other hand, was an attendant Bodhisattva to Tathagata Buddha, and Dharma Flower Forest Bodhisattva was an attendant Bodhisattva to Maitreya Buddha. The three Buddhas represented three different factions in the Western Heaven. Randeng Buddha represented the Ancient Buddha faction, Tathagata Buddha represented the Present Buddha faction, and Maitreya Buddha represented the Future Buddha faction.
The three factions coexisted. Although they were all in the Western Heaven, there was some open and hidden strife among them. Currently, the Western Heaven was led by Tathagata Buddha's Spirit Mountain, which was quite wary of the other two factions.
