"Everything is within the Great Heavenly Venerable's grasp."
Chen Shi watched the Imperial Chariot approaching from within the purple light, thinking to himself. The Jade Emperor Great Heavenly Venerable controlled everything.
On this mission to quell the rebellion, the Great Heavenly Venerable seemingly did nothing, yet everything was under his control—from Taibai Jinxing arriving to deliver the decree with the acting imperial authority, to Taibai Jinxing dying by that very authority. From the chaos in the Heavenly Market Enclosure, to the Hooked Array Emperor's struggle over whether to rebel.
From Yun Zhongzi's probing, to Yun Zhongzi making his move. From Chen Shi suppressing the rebellion, to the Wu Yue Star Lord setting an ambush. From the Heavenly Venerable of Pure Void and Morality's interference, to the Hooked Array Emperor taking action, and then to Yun Zhongzi making up his mind.
And now, with the arrival of the Great Crepe Myrtle Emperor and Yun Zhongzi's retreat, every single thing was under the Great Heavenly Venerable's control. All events unfolded according to the Great Heavenly Venerable's will.
