"Are you out of your mind?"
That's what Zhang Yu wanted to say in response to Le Mulian's money-throwing behavior.
But before he could say it, Bai Zhenzhen, standing beside him, nudged his shoulder and urged, "She's offering money! What are you waiting for?"
Bai Zhenzhen turned to Le Mulian and asked, "Where do you want to touch? Taking off the shirt will cost extra."
Le Mulian quickly shook her head, "No need, just... just touching the hand will do."
At that moment, Le Mulian suddenly trembled slightly.
She frowned and patted the bench beneath her, saying, "Stop moving."
The girl lying beneath Le Mulian gritted her teeth and stopped moving.
Her eyes and nose seemed to scrunch up, as if she were about to cry tears of blood.
"Why? Why would someone as rich, talented, and noble as the top student in our grade spend money on a poor and dirty student from Songyang High School?"
Once the bench stopped shaking, Le Mulian turned her gaze back to Zhang Yu and slowly extended her hand.
Suddenly, Bai Zhenzhen grabbed her hand, "Hey hey hey! What are you doing? You haven't paid yet."
After Le Mulian transferred 2,000 yuan, Zhang Yu felt a cold, small hand slowly touch his.
It first tentatively brushed his fingertips, then slid like a snake along his fingers to the back of his hand, where it rested gently.
