Hearing Lan Ling's words, Zhang Yu asked, "What are the selection criteria? Why don't we qualify?"
Lan Ling glanced at them coldly and said indifferently, "You need at least three million in initial investment. Do you have that?"
Zhang Yu and Bai Zhenzhen were instantly speechless.
Where would they get that kind of money? Even if they did, they certainly wouldn't invest it in a student council-led project.
Seeing that Zhang Yu and Bai Zhenzhen didn't respond, Lan Ling thought to himself, "As expected, they don't have the money. It seems Zhang Pianpian knows her limits and didn't support them joining the special training program."
After saying this, Lan Ling turned and left, seemingly unconcerned with the rest of the competition team's affairs.
Zhang Yu, however, called out again, "Hey, what about the other benefits for the competition team? Doesn't the school provide any training or subsidies for us?"
Without turning back, Lan Ling replied, "That's not my responsibility. Go ask Wang Hai."
Wang Hai approached Zhang Yu and Bai Zhenzhen and said, "The high school sports competition is in two weeks. Lan Ling and the others are busy refining their bodies and preparing for the competition."
"As for the high school competition team, I'll explain it to you."
Wang Hai smiled at the two of them.
