"Haah! Haah! Hoo!" Against the backdrop of a dark city, Simon and his companions were running through the streets in a frenzy.
"Hang in there, Kami!"
"Yes! You too, Simon!"
Just a few minutes ago, there had been no one around, but suddenly, the number of zombies had surged from who knows where.
They came from different routes.
Zombies were pouring in from every alley, and even from houses, they were bursting out.
"What on earth is happening?" Mei Lin shouted.
"Zombies are coming out from places we've already checked!"
"It must be ones we missed! Just keep running!"
As the four of them dashed through the streets, zombies were closing in from all directions.
The sight of the writhing mass in the darkness made their heads spin before they could even think of fighting back.
"There are more ahead!" Kami Barez shouted.
Simon and Dick exchanged glances and nodded.
The two of them quickly drew their swords from the spatial pocket and rushed ahead faster than the girls.
Swish!
With a swift motion, they passed through the bodies of the zombies.
One zombie's head flew into the air.
Dick, perhaps a bit too shallow in his attack, turned back and stabbed his sword into the back of another zombie.
"Ugh!"
