"Ja Geum-jeong."
At Mok Gyeong-un's call, the excommunicated monk, the Demon-Subduing Fist Master Ja Geum-jeong, approached in bewilderment. He did not know why he was suddenly being called. As he wondered, Mok Gyeong-un handed over the Blue Spirit he was holding and said, "Keep her with you."
"Cough, cough. To tell this bald monk who used to go around beating up stray ghosts to keep a vengeful spirit..."
"I trust you. So protect her."
At Mok Gyeong-un's short but heavy command, Ja Geum-jeong hesitated for a moment, then respectfully reached out both arms and replied, "I will follow your command." Normally, even when hearing Mok Gyeong-un's command, he would have answered without hesitation. He called him Master, Master, but had never properly used respectful language.
When he used proper respectful language for the first time, Seop Chun's eyes went wide.
"Is the sun going to rise in the west? Did you just answer that you will follow his command?"
At Seop Chun's mocking, the excommunicated monk Ja Geum-jeong smacked his lips and said, "Are you... perhaps unable to feel it?"
"What are you talking about?"
"...Never mind."
"No. If you asked me something, shouldn't you give me a proper answer?"
