I was the only one who survived, having barely escaped through a narrow kitchen window. As is common for those who experience such things, I was plagued by nightmares for a long time afterward. The events in my dreams were even more horrifying than reality.
The heads of the gamblers and swordsmen were crushed, their eyeballs and teeth scattering everywhere, and their limbs were torn to shreds. Even then, they clung to life, rolling on the floor and letting out bloodcurdling screams. I was no exception.
