The Mysterious Spirit Realm, the Heavenly Court. Lu Yang opened his eyes. The iridescent light at his fingertips still cycled as usual, as if it had all been a dream.
Only the Dao Fruit secret art recorded in his mind proved it had truly happened. Then Lu Yang froze. Because he realized he had suddenly forgotten something.
He had just met someone moments ago, yet he could no longer recall who that person was.
‘Who did I meet.’
Lu Yang subconsciously checked the Shifting Time and Changing Era Dao Fruit he had obtained, and a look of horror immediately flashed across his face.
‘The Dao Fruit secret art of City Wall Earth? I met the World Honored One? How is that possible! The World Honored One descended to the mortal world to capture me? Did I already go through that whole thing?’
More and more memories surfaced.
Then vanished.
‘No, it’s not that the memories are disappearing.’
Faced with such a bizarre situation, Lu Yang did not panic. Instead, he grew calm in the extreme.
‘It’s karma. Part of my past karma has vanished!’
The loss of memory was merely a secondary effect. Because his Dao heart was perfected, not even a Dao Lord could directly manipulate his memories. However, by obscuring karma, they could indirectly interfere with a portion of them.
