Lu Yang was quite at ease about Zhao Xuhe.
"Senior Brother Zhao has three lifetimes of merit and abundant fortune. He even attempted to break through to Foundation Establishment once before, even without my help. With my assistance now, I believe his chances are even higher."
It was only a matter of time. Lu Yang retracted his gaze, turned, and returned to his cave residence. He then summoned his guardian god, Sunü, and with his Foundation Establishment status, he began to cultivate the Corpse-Shedding Form Transformation True Art and the Secret of the Heavenly Silkworm once more.
Just like that, time passed. Ten days later, on a certain dark and windy night.
"Junior Brother Lu, are you there?"
Liu Xin had come to his door. Lu Yang answered and opened the cave residence, grinning at Liu Xin.
"You're here. I've been waiting for you for a long time, Senior Brother. Thank you for coming all this way so late at night to deliver this."
Liu Xin was taken aback.
"... Deliver what?"
Because he had done this in his second-to-last life, Lu Yang's movements were as smooth as a light carriage on a familiar road. Before Liu Xin could even finish his sentence, he shot out a great hand of True Qi.
