The story tells that the Realman (Zhenren) led the Bull Demon King, riding a white deer, and left Luojia Mountain in the South Sea, returning to the Lingtai Fangcun Mountain.
As the two walked to the front of the Slanting Moon Three Stars Cave, the Realman dismounted the white deer and told it to rest among the mountains.
Turning his gaze to the Bull Demon King, the Realman smiled and said, “Bull King, thank you for accompanying me all this way. Now that we've returned home, you should rest well; don’t tire yourself.”
The Bull Demon King replied, “Master, didn’t you say that a fated disciple will come? May I stay here to receive this destined one on your behalf?”
The Realman shook his head and said, “That destined one does not need to be led here; he has some skills of his own and will find his way. You should return and rest now, while I have guests arriving at the mansion whom I must meet.”
The Bull Demon King nodded but still asked, “Master, who is this guest? Could you tell me?”
The Realman answered, “It is the Great Immortal Zhen Yuanzi.”
Upon hearing this, the Bull Demon King knew he should not delay further; the Realman was surely going to greet Zhen Yuanzi.
The Bull Demon King bowed respectfully and left.
