It is said that the Green Bull burst into the Dou Shuai Palace and entered the Dao room, causing the True Person to be slightly astonished.
Jiang Yuan asked, “How did you, this bull, come into my place?”
The Green Bull entered the Dao room, let out a series of calls, and transformed into human form.
The Green Bull appeared quite fierce and ugly: “one horn uneven, double eyes bright, thick skin protruding on top, black flesh shining at the ear roots, long tongue stirring the nose, wide mouth with yellow teeth, fur as green as indigo, muscles as hard as steel,” truly resembling a demon king of the human realm.
The Green Bull exclaimed, “The boy watching the cattle has disappeared, and there’s no one to guard. I just came out for a stroll and will return soon.”
Jiang Yuan, hearing this, was doubtful and asked, “Where did that boy watching the cattle go?”
The Green Bull replied, “Exactly! That fellow leaves every now and then, how can he keep watch wholeheartedly? Thus, I often sneak out to play.”
Jiang Yuan suddenly realized and asked, “If that’s the case, since you often play in the palace, how did you come to find me?”
