In the Water Curtain Cave of Flower Fruit Mountain, the Great Sage returned from battling the Huian Traveler, feeling restless and knowing he had been recognized.
Some monkeys came to ask, "Great King, Great King! Today, the soldiers could not withstand us, we are carefree and at ease. Why are you so frightened?"
The Great Sage scratched his ears and cheeks, impatiently saying, "You do not know, in this heavenly realm, I am not afraid. That old Jade Emperor fears me, having conferred upon me the title of Qi Tian Da Sheng, granting me all permissions. I do not fear the old Jade Emperor, but rather my own sect."
The others asked, "Sect? Is it the place where the Great King sought a master in the past? Now that the Great King has achieved divine powers, how could he not surpass this sect?"
The Great Sage replied, "How do you know what abilities my sect possesses? My master has boundless magical powers, unmatched even by the old Jade Emperor; in the Three Realms, there is no one who can surpass him. Not to mention my master, even my eldest senior brother is a person of great divine powers, capable of kicking the heavens and manipulating wells."
They asked again, "What do you mean by divine powers?"
