The one who possessed the corpse of the thousand-year-old Celestial Star Beetle was an elder named Mo Hai.
This elder’s greatest pleasure in life was raising various rare insects and beasts—the stranger the spirit insect, the more delighted he was.
After the invasion of the Demon Realm began, Elder Mo Hai had battled against the Ancient Demons many times.
Once, he nearly perished, but thanks to the Celestial Star Beetles, he narrowly escaped death.
Unfortunately, afterward those beetles also fell one after another.
For this reason, Elder Mo Hai valued those Celestial Star Beetles immensely.
Even after their deaths, he carefully preserved their remains.
Aware of the past events, Li Qing knew this trade would not be easy, yet he still came before Elder Mo Hai’s cave abode.
“Is Elder Mo Hai present? I, Wuji, have come to pay my respects!”
He wasn’t made to wait long.
The restrictions before the cave abode unraveled one after another, opening a pathway into its depths.
“Daoist Wuji, I have long admired your name. Come in.”
Hearing this, Li Qing secretly felt a bit of relief.
It seemed this elder’s disposition was not as difficult as he had imagined.
He immediately soared forward and stepped into the strange cave mansion.
