“Two thousand Immortal Merits? Actually, that’s not too little.”
“That’s because it was your first kill. If it were me, I’d probably only get a few hundred Immortal Merits for slaying a single Abyss Life.”
The Winter Flame God King sighed, “I’ve wandered the Immortal Realm for countless years, and all I’ve managed to accumulate is about a hundred thousand Immortal Merits… Accumulating Immortal Merits is far harder than collecting Eternal Crystals.”
“Indeed.” Li Yuan nodded involuntarily.
From the intelligence he received, he also understood how difficult it was to acquire Immortal Merits.
First, Immortal Merits aren’t physical objects like Eternal Crystals.
They are just a kind of ‘record’ stored inside the Immortal Token, so you can’t snatch Immortal Merits by killing other strong opponents.
Second, Immortal Merits can only be used by yourself; they can’t be transferred.
Third, killing the same tier of “Otherworld Beings” repeatedly results in less and less Immortal Merit rewards.
“Besides,” the Winter Flame God King said shaking his head, “you’re a newcomer, so within ten thousand years, you won’t consume any Immortal Merits…”
