Recently, a remarkable event was approaching.
Because of this event, the Ghost Market was filled with anxiety.
Upon hearing the news, Xie Lian was shocked, and his heart raced just like the ghastly spirits that had come to inform him: "Birthday?"
"Precisely!"
Indeed.
The ruler of the Ghost Market, Hua Cheng, was about to celebrate a birthday of unknown significance!
Xie Lian felt unprepared and inexplicably tense.
He stammered, "How, how did San Lang celebrate his birthday in the past?"
The spirits answered all at once, a cacophony of voices: "It was a great uproar!"
"It was just a wild celebration..."
"But the City Lord never pays attention, does he?"
After hearing this, Xie Lian asked, "What do you mean by not paying attention?"
One spirit replied, "The City Lord never celebrates his birthday."
"That's right! He never cares about what we do on his birthday, nor does he even glance at the presents gifted to him. Every year, it’s just us having fun without him!"
"The City Lord is such an important figure that he seems to forget when his birthday is!"
Xie Lian thought for a moment and made up his mind.
Since Hua Cheng had never cared about previous birthdays, this time he had to find a way to make it special and fun for him.
