A few days had passed since the National Assembly election. Because we were both busy and it was hard to coordinate our schedules, it was past midnight when I met with Yoon Chang-ho.

I had called him to a space I’d set up in secret. Yoon Chang-ho came in, saw me, and smiled warmly. I also got up from my seat and greeted him.

Yoon Chang-ho’s words were like a lament, but contrary to his tone, his face was full of ease. I could sense he was exaggerating his discomfort, so I let out a small laugh.
