(PS: This chapter is a bit longer, so it’s a bit late.
The spiritual civilization is very interesting.
Not only the limited info we have now, but the full description of the first lost world probably won’t disappoint you all.)
Wu Pifu finished reading this diary, and in his heart, he gained a rough understanding of the loss of this civilization.
To be honest, it was basically the same old alchemical civilization pattern: the upper echelon didn’t regard the lower ones as people.
They treated the common folk as food and resources, and the future they hoped for was a small group of people transcending to the heavens, while the earth below became a pile of ordinary people’s corpses used as stepping stones.
So the result was loss — the upper echelon ended up playing themselves to destruction along with everyone else!
Wu Pifu now understood that the most important part of a civilization was actually the countless ordinary people.
Transcendence is pollution.
The stronger the transcendent powers, the more “reality” they consume.
This “reality” doesn’t just come from individuals, it also extracts from the civilization’s total reality.
Once the reality is exhausted, the entire civilization is lost.
